James' Garage is a diesel truck repair
shop where the customer comes first. |
|
|
| James' Garage was started in 1964 and some of their
original customers for the 1960s still bring their trucks to James'
because they know the staff there understands how important is is for
them to keep their vehicles in good operating condition. James' Garage now works on smaller diesel engines, and their experience with large diesels means you can get the same high-quality repairs on your diesel pickup as on the big trucks. Owner Lucille Shelton explains that larger trucks are still the mainstay of James' garage and they don't get too big for the James' crew. Some regular James' customers have smaller diesels in their fleets which encouraged them to add the service on smaller trucks. |
Shop manager Larry Williamson has 21 years experience
in
the business, including smaller diesel engines and heavy duty equipment. The James' Garage crew works together with their goal the best possible service for their customers, no matter what type of truck rig or heavy diesel equipment. They understand the importance of dependable repairs to their customers. For the convenience of customers, a new exit driveway into highway 120 has been added allowing trucks to leave James' without backing or turning around. James' Garage also has wrecker service available. The garage is thankful for all it's customers, old and new, and welcomes those needing their service on smaller diesels. |

The weather is changing, and truck owners know that
winter can be as hard on their equipment as summer. Time to let James'
Garage winterize your vehicles. Anti-freeze is very important, come in today and let James' flush the radiator and install the proper dilution of anti-freeze. They will also fill the water filter that may have been neglected. Belts should also be checked. After a hot summer on the road your hoses may have been under extra stress. James' is known for the preventative maintenance they do on diesel trucks for their customers. Experienced diesel mechanics can repair or replace worn parts and save truck owners problems out on the road, and money. |
| This is also the best time of the year to replace your tires. The first 2/32 of tread is the easiest to wear off, and it goes quickly in hot weather. However replacing tires in the fall means that rubber won't wear as fast during the cooler weather and will have most of their original tread come next spring. | James' Garage is an official inspection station for big
trucks with three members of the staff certified as inspectors.
At James' we keep diesel trucks, large and small, in good repair and road worthy. That is what we do every day. |
